Telltale is back! The Expanse: A Telltale Series is the first game from the acclaimed narrative-adventure studio since 2019. The studio is behind some of the most legendary titles in the genre; from The Walking Dead, to Minecraft Story Mode, to The Wolf Among Us.

The game features exploration never before seen in Telltale titles, and we would encourage all creators to spend time exploring the lush environments with their audiences. Showcase the beauty of space, and find clues that provide even more richness to the story.

But Telltale games are known for their difficult choices, and The Expanse: A Telltale Series is no different. With episodes launching every two weeks we would encourage you to agonise over your decisions with your audiences; poll them on what they would do, take your time to weight up the pros and cons, and replay episodes if you'd like to see what could have happened.

The game is easy to pick up and learn, and features a number of accessibility options designed to allow anyone to enjoy the rich world of The Expanse.

We would encourage you to make content for each episode but to also bear in mind the overall story arc across all 5 episodes. There will be content that you miss, and major story beats you won't get the chance to see!

Campaign Information

We would encourage all creators to spend as much time with each episode as possible; showcasing the detail in the environments, and finding as many clues and items as possible to give the richest story possible.

Game Information

The first new IP announced by Telltale since the company re-formed in 2019, The Expanse: A Telltale Series is set prior to the events of Alcon Television Group’s critically acclaimed and award-winning television series which streams on Amazon Prime Video.

Players take on the role of Camina Drummer (played by actress Cara Gee in both the game and TV series), the XO of a scavenger crew on the hunt for a mysterious treasure on the edges of The Belt. As Drummer, players must deal with a mix of powerful personalities, square off against a bloody mutiny, explore locations beyond The Belt and, most of all, make tough decisions that will decide the fate of The Artemis crew.

Scour shipwrecks, use mag boots to walk on walls and ceilings, and utilize Zero-G thrusters to float through sections of ships and the open expanse of space in the largest and most immersive exploration of any Telltale game to date.
