Ships At Sea

Ships At Sea is a next-generation maritime and ship simulator set in the Norwegian Sea, featuring single-player, online co-op multiplayer, and dedicated server support. Build your maritime career through commercial fishing, cargo transport, service vessel operations, and a wide range of authentic maritime activities while progressing through multiple vessel classes.

Developed by Misc Games, creators of the popular Fishing: North Atlantic and Fishing: Barents Sea franchises, Ships At Sea allows players to explore a highly detailed open-world recreation of the Lofoten region of Norway. Visit ports and harbours, manage your fleet through fully accessible shipyard and dry dock facilities, upgrade and maintain vessels, purchase equipment, and work your way toward larger and more advanced ships.

Start your journey with smaller boats and gradually unlock increasingly capable vessels as you transport cargo, operate fishing equipment, support fish farming operations, and take on maritime service activities. Play alone or with friends, create a company together, share resources, work on the same vessel, or operate independently within a shared multiplayer world.

The game currently features 13 playable boats and ships across multiple vessel classes, including the first Class 4 offshore wind farm support vessel. Upcoming updates will expand Class 4 gameplay with ferry operations, crab and lobster fishing, while future development will introduce Class 5 vessels, additional maritime industries, and new activities across the Norwegian Sea.

Operate fully functional wheelhouse instruments and vessel systems designed around authentic maritime workflows. Whether navigating through dense fog, rough seas, or challenging weather conditions, every voyage requires planning, skill, and coordination.

Ships At Sea combines Nvidia WaveWorks ocean simulation technology with our own physically based buoyancy system to deliver realistic vessel handling and an immersive maritime environment. Dynamic weather systems, weather forecasts, storms, fog, rain, and changing sea states ensure that no two journeys feel the same.

Building on the realism of our previous titles, Ships At Sea features licensed vessels, equipment, and navigation systems from real-world maritime, offshore, and fishing industry partners. Combined with stunning visuals, realistic environments, and authentic maritime operations, the game aims to deliver one of the most comprehensive maritime simulation experiences available.

Embark on your maritime career, build your company, command an expanding fleet of vessels, and carve your path across the seas of Northern Norway in a living open-world maritime and ship simulator.
